The Legacy
Before Jodhpur had a photography scene, it had Shiva Pareek.
In 1990, when a career behind a camera was still an improbable ambition, Shiva Pareek opened a small studio in Jodhpur and set a standard the city has measured itself against ever since. Three decades on, Shree Shivas Photography is Jodhpur's oldest continuously operating professional photography and videography studio — and one of its most trusted names.
A national award–winning photographer, Shiva built the studio frame by frame into an institution: multiple studios across the city, a full in-house post-production and print lab, and a body of work that spans palace weddings, operating theatres, courtrooms and cantonments.
